Description

This listing is for a Sparky 1/64 scale 1983 Porsche 956 in the famous Kenwood Hi-Fi sponsored livery of Porsche Kremer Racing . This car finished 3rd at Le Mans in 1983 in the hands of Mario Andretti, Michael Andretti and Phillipe Alliot. In its' career this car raced another four seasons after Le Mans, in the hands of no fewer than 12 Formula 1 drivers, including 3 World Champions. Names such as Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Stefan Johansson, Derek Warwick and Tiff Needell have all graced this car. Spark are well known for their highly detailed 1/43 models, so it's no surprise the new range of 1/64 models are superb too. The model and box are both BRAND NEW and UNOPENED , please see the photos as this is the actual item you will receive. The ends of the blister seem to have been very slightly crumpled in transit (I think this packaging is prone to this), with a small section missing at the very bottom rear, but this does not affect the model at all (see photos 7, 8, 9). This would look great on a racetrack diorama (see my other listings for a Gulf version), or you could re-create the Goodwood Members Meeting celebration of the Porsche 956 / 962 earlier this year. This particular model is hard to find in the UK and I only have this one. From a smoke free home. This will be nicely packed in a box to protect it - no jiffy bags here!
